We frequently get calls with questions regarding sick or injured animals and what to do with them. There is a wonderful group of volunteers who can help with information on what to do or where to take all types of wildlife.
The name of the group is A.W.A.R.E., Atlanta Wildlife Animal Rescue Effort.
When contacting A.W.A.R.E. – The main line gets numerous calls daily, so if at all possible, locate the person who deals with the specific type of animal in your area and contact them directly.
